Case files: rebuilding business websites
Case file: recovering the web presence of SouthCraft Plumbing
Think of this as a recovery report for a DeLand plumbing company, written by the team that recovers data for Computer Outlet customers.
It documents the starting point found in the archive and the information SouthCraft Plumbing now presents through pages for emergency repairs, water heaters, repipes and gas lines across Volusia County.
Recovered snapshot: southcraftplumbing.com before the rebuild
The snapshot we recovered from the Internet Archive for SouthCraft Plumbing is stamped June 18, 2024.
In that recovered copy (page title “Expert Plumbing Services | South Craft Plumbing”) the homepage was a white page with rounded light-blue service buttons for commercial, gas, residential, service, remodels and new construction.
Restored and rebuilt: SouthCraft Plumbing today
What the client has now is pages for emergency repairs, water heaters, repipes and gas lines across Volusia County.
The current SouthCraft Plumbing homepage is captured in the screenshot below.
What data recovery and the SouthCraft Plumbing rebuild have in common
Both jobs start by finding what still exists, and for SouthCraft Plumbing that meant checking the archive first.
