Case files: rebuilding business websites
Case file: recovering the web presence of MotoStopMX
Think of this as a recovery report for a dirt bike and motocross parts retailer, written by the team that recovers data for Computer Outlet customers.
It documents the starting point found in the archive and the information MotoStopMX now presents through an online store for parts, tires, gear and accessories.
Recovered snapshot: motostopmx.com before the rebuild
Our archive search for motostopmx.com recovered nothing, so this case file shows only the current MotoStopMX site and does not assume what came before.
Restored and rebuilt: MotoStopMX today
What the client has now is an online store for parts, tires, gear and accessories.
The current MotoStopMX homepage is captured in the screenshot below.
What data recovery and the MotoStopMX rebuild have in common
Both jobs start by finding what still exists, and for MotoStopMX that meant checking the archive first.
