Case files: rebuilding business websites
Case file: recovering the web presence of Better Windows
Think of this as a recovery report for a satellite brand of Elevation Windows & Doors, written by the team that recovers data for Computer Outlet customers.
It documents the starting point found in the archive and the information Better Windows now presents through a focused impact window and door replacement site that sends leads to elevationwindowsfl.com.
Recovered snapshot: betterwindows.us before the rebuild
Our archive search for betterwindows.us recovered nothing, so this case file shows only the current Better Windows site and does not assume what came before.
Restored and rebuilt: Better Windows today
What the client has now is a focused impact window and door replacement site that sends leads to elevationwindowsfl.com.
The current Better Windows homepage is captured in the screenshot below.
What data recovery and the Better Windows rebuild have in common
Both jobs start by finding what still exists, and for Better Windows that meant checking the archive first.
